Day 1:
Saturday, November 9th - Blue Lake Swim Club, Irvine Ca

Our first day of production we set out to shoot the swimming pool flashback sequence in which our "dream girl" Deovvne (Katie Steinberg) rescues a little kid from drowning with the unusual caveat that she doesn't actually know how to swim! Notice my father, David Livingston, in SCUBA gear manning an underwater camera.

Day 2 and 3:
Saturday & Sunday, November 16th-17th - The Reagan Years 80s Arcade, Fullerton Ca

Unfortunately, due to time constraints in the arcade as well as some incorrect camera settings on the pat of the still photographer, we have just a few photographs of our arcade shoot. Here's a little tidbit - you'll just have to wait to see the movie to get what's going on...

Day 4:
Saturday, December 7th - Plaza Bible Church, Orange Ca

The Plaza Bible Church was kind enough to let us use their curb to shoot the now infamous 'DeLorean Scene' in which Jesse (Kory Alden) locks himself out of 'Jesse's Girl,' his mythic DMC-12 DeLorean. Our film was graced with not one, but TWO beautiful DeLoreans courtesy of Don Steger, owner of Garden Grove California's DeLorean Motor Center.

Days 5-10:
Sunday - Thursday, January 5th-9th - Double Rainbow Cafe, San Rafael Ca &
Saturday, January 11th - Redwood High School, Larkspur Ca &
Saturday, January 11th - 7-11, Mill Valley Ca

The Double Rainbow Cafe, an ice cream parlor and teen hangout located on Fourth Street in San Rafael, is the primary location of the film. We shot there for five nights while the restaurant was closed and our task included dressing the set each night to make it look like it was decorated for Valentines Day.

We also shot in the hallways of Redwood High School with lots of teenage extras and wrapped up in front of an 80s style 7-11 later that night. All in all, our Marin County shoot was excellent and many thanks go out to our marvelous locations!
